A sixth realm, and a new gift

The official overview identifies the new realm as the Land of the Livid Dead. It opens progressively during the adventure. There, Betilla grants Fairy Radiance, a new ability for the heroes.

The Tree of Tranquility acts as a central point, with portals leading to the hubs of the six realms. The overview also describes travel through the world map and dragon rides between realms. It does not give exact unlock thresholds or collectible coordinates, so this is an overview rather than a route guide.

The new story follows corruption spreading through the Glade of Dreams, with Dark Teensies serving a greater threat. Voiced cinematics and music credited to Christophe Héral and Grant Kirkhope accompany the retelling.

Music, dragons and the Cave of Trials

Four new musical stages join the returning musical levels. The announced dragon rides involve dodging obstacles and fighting enemies while taking Teensies to safety.

The overview describes the Cave of Trials with daily, weekly and monthly challenges, leaderboards and special rewards. Exact schedules, challenge solutions and reward requirements have not been verified here.

These are announced features, not impressions from a completed playthrough. The release guide covers the current launch status.

Bring up to four heroes together

The adventure can be played solo or in up to four-player local couch co-op. Steam’s publisher description says the entire adventure supports that shared mode.

Kung Foot Evo also returns. Ubisoft’s overview describes one-on-one or doubles play, deeper controls, new arenas and power-ups. The publisher’s store description adds customizable rules.

If you are choosing a platform to play with distant friends, read the online-label and sharing limits first. Couch co-op, GameShare and Remote Play are different claims.

Meet the announced heroes

  • Rayman — returns for the retold adventure.
  • Globox — joins the familiar group.
  • Barbara — one of the four heroes named in the official overview.
  • Grand Minimus — completes the overview’s named group.

Ubisoft’s overview describes unlockable outfits and Victor Velour’s shop for changing the heroes’ looks. It does not establish a character tier list, distinct combat statistics or a weapon build system. This guide therefore identifies the announced roster without inventing rankings.

Deluxe’s four Retro Pack costumes and the two-character Hoodlum Havoc Pack are separate offers. See the edition comparison for the distinction.

An earlier adventure comes along

Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition is included with the base game. You do not need Deluxe just to get this included title. The publisher describes 4K visuals, new collectibles and rewards, and quality-of-life improvements for Origins: Enhanced Edition.
